1x Onion 

1x Green Pepper 

Tsp crushed garlic 

Pack of mince (beef, pork or lamb)

Lasagna sheets 



125ml water

Tbsp sugar 

1 cup flour

200g butter 

200ml milk 

1x can of chopped tomato 

Tsp tomato paste 

Woolworths Napoletana pasta sauce(optional)

Grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese 
For Mince: 

Heat olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion, green pepper and garlic until golden.

Add the mince and brown, once browned add the canned tomato, tomato paste, Napoletana sauce, thyme, parsley, water and sugar ( note: sugar cuts the acidity in the tomato) and season then leave to simmer for 15 minutes until the sauce is thick 
For white sauce: 

Melt butter in a saucepan, then add the flour to make a paste. Pour in the milk and a little Grated cheese for a cheesy flavour, whisk until there are no lumps and sauce is thick, then season with salt and pepper 
Pasta sheets: 

Boil in salted water until al dented ( cooked “firm to bite” not too soft 
In an ovenproof dish, alternately layer the cooked pasta sheets, mince and white sauce. End with a layer of white sauce and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Enjoy with a green salad
